Since 1899, Mounts Bay Snooker Club has been at the heart of Penzance’s cue sports community. Now, for the first time in our 125 year history, we are excited to offer a dedicated pool table alongside our two tournament grade snooker tables.
Whether you are an experienced player or simply looking for somewhere to enjoy a casual game with friends, our new pool table provides the perfect setting. We are located on Morrab Road, just a short walk from Penzance train station and town centre.

Our full sized snooker tables offer the precision and tradition the sport is known for, while our new pool table provides faster, more accessible fun. It is ideal for groups and casual play.
We are one of the few venues in Cornwall where you can enjoy both snooker and pool in a dedicated, purpose built space. No noisy pub atmosphere, no distractions, just great tables and good company.
More Than Pool: Darts, Drinks, and Community
Your visit to Mounts Bay can include more than just pool. We also have a darts board, offering another way to challenge friends. And when the game is done, our licensed bar is waiting.
We are known for having some of the most affordable drinks in Penzance, with pints under £4.50 and shorts from £2.30. The bar opens every evening at 6.00pm and is the perfect place to relax after a game, meet fellow members, and soak in the atmosphere of one of Cornwall’s most historic clubs.

Yes, Mounts Bay is a private members club. Playing is included with membership, which also gives you access to our snooker tables, darts board, and bar.

We are open Monday to Saturday, 9.00am to 11.30pm. We are closed on Sundays.
